ALEXIS ADOPTED

From her new mom and dad who drove all the way from South Carolina to get her.

“Alexis has a little routine during the day. Has breakfast, goes for walk  and visits with  neighbors who are out in their gardens. Usually we have an errand or two to do so she comes in the van with us. We hang around for a while and she sleeps. Has her lunch or snack and then hangs out in the yard with her sisters and sometimes the neighbors dog Oreo. They are always playing or chasing something and she likes to follow them around. We have been taking the dogs for little rides in the afternoon because the weather has been so nice  and Beaufort is beautiful this time of year. We went to Savannah earlier in the week. She eats dinner, comes running in with the other dogs now. Really cute!!!  She still won’t come into the living room at night, likes to lounge in the sunroom so I sit in there and read with her for a while. THEN…she loves to go for a walk about 10:30 at night., so off we go!! Pitch black and quiet as tomb, but she leads the way.!! I had to tell my neighbors we were doing the security watch so no one would call the cops on us!!!! They now put on their outside lights. She is becoming quite a celebrity here.”
