ORLY

Poor little Orly was run over by a tractor in Homestead. Mirta tried to trap her to get her vet care for over six months. Finally, with a few volunteers Orly was rescued. You can see the damage to her paw and there was no way to avoid amputation of her leg. Orly is approximately 8 - 9 months old and we thought she was feral but she is actually very social with other dogs and although shy to meet new people, once she gets to know and trust u she will love you and give you kisses. She has been with her wonderful foster for 2 months recuperating from her surgery but she now needs an experienced foster who has the time to spend with her and provide the rest of the training she needs and deserves.

Her current foster has done a great job rehabbing Orly but can't get Orly to the next level as she lives in a highrise apartment with no access to a backyard. Orly needs a backyard to learn to be potty trained as she is still afraid to have a leash put around her neck. Orly also needs someone who has the time to spend with her and teach her the skills she needs and unfortunately the current foster works very long hours.
MIRTA IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER WHO CAN HELP ORLY. ORLY IS NON-AGGRESSIVE WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS.SHE NEEDS A FOSTER WHO IS EXPERIENCED WITH LESS SOCIALIZED PUPS.
UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS AN URGENT SITUATION AS THE ONLY OTHER PLACE THAT MIRTA HAS TO PUT ORLY IS IN A BACKYARD IN A CRATE WHICH WILL UNDO ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL PROGRESS SHE HAS MADE.

Please call MIRTA 305 484 1349.IF YOU CAN HELP OR FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ORLY. SHE HAS COME SO FAR FROM LIVING ON THE STREETS, WE WOULD HATE TO GO BACKWARDS NOW. Orly is under Chain of Love Rescue.
