Jimmy

Jimmy was born on the street almost 1.5 years ago. His mommy and one sibling were rescued by Marilyn but a woman who lived in the trailer where he was born, would not give him up. She kept him outside to live in a pet carrier with a plastic bag as cover. He escaped many times but always came back. Several weeks ago he was hit by a car and picked up by MDAS. The owner did not want to retrieve him so Marilyn  went there and adopted him. He is now fixed and vaccinated and HW negative, but he has one paw which he holds turned inside. See pix following collage of him. Marilyn took him to orthopedic vet who said that the leg can be saved if someone works with him, by walking him and letting him run and jump etc. All he has to do is get used to stepping on the paw and most likely it will not have to be amputated.
