My name is Nathan, and I feel that I am the luckiest dog in the
world because I was rescued by a wonderful human being. She found me
wandering around after I was left to die in the Everglades National
Park because my family didn’t care about me anymore. . I got pretty
beat up in the woods, so I have a couple of scars. I know that I am
just a plain black doggie, but what I lack in colorfulness, I make
up in love and kisses.  The lady who rescued me says that I am the
kindest soul and the sweetest boy. I am no particular breed, maybe a
little Shepherd, who knows. ? About 45-50 lbs, I like other dogs and
I love to get hugs from humans. Of course, there is always the issue
of where I am going to live. The Everglades Park Ranger who
picked me up at the park, can’t put me with her pack , because there
are soooo many of them and just one little ole me and she is afraid
that her macho guys would push me around. So, she keeps me safe in a
crate, but I am dying to get out and play and be part of the gang. I
am looking for a loving, forever home. That will really make me the
luckiest dog in the world!
