BOXER MIX

Read below for the original post when we first rescued Zeus. He
required two surgeries, but he is doing so beautifully. He is
only 1.5 years old and is craving his own home. He has been
locked up in a cage for 3 months between the surgery and rehab
and now he has nowhere to go. No one has come to meet him. He is
such a loving boy and he loves his orange ball that the vet gave
him when he first arrived. He carries it everywhere(we forgot it
when we picked him up for his glamor shots !)

ZEUS  is dog and people friendly. Have not tried him with small
children or cats. He only weighs 35-40 lbs.

PLEASE HELP US FIND A HOME FOR HIM.(or even a foster to get him
out of the crate) HE HAS GONE THROUGH SO MUCH AND PEOPLE WERE SO
GENEROUS WITH THEIR PRAYERS AND DONATIONS FOR HIS TWO SURGERIES.
AFTER ALL OF THIS , IT IS SO SAD NOT TO HAVE HIM IN A LOVING
HOME and instead living in a cage.

This little boy we named Zeus was
found yesterday at a field. My friends noticed he could hardly
walk. When they parked the car and approach him, he came to
them with a lot of effort and pain and laid by the car . He
needed and wanted help…. I met my friends Patty, Stacey
and Sandra and took him to safety. When I approached him he
stood still and let me handle him even though he was in so
much pain, He can hardly stand and we need to act fast He
was so weak and in pain. We took him to the vet and he has
both of his femurs fractured and needs surgery. The injury
is a few days old.
