Duke

Duke is a labranard……a lab/st. bernard!initial-folder-upon-downloading14-1dukenewpix2

Update:  Duke is ready to go , neutered, stitches out. He was so good he didn’t even play with his stitches. He never has met an animal or person he doesn’t love.  He is even having k9 advisor obedience training. He walks great on a leash now and sits.  He is such a great dog. No chewing.  Crate trained, but he doesn’t have to be crated as he is very good in the house. He really would love to have another canine friend, as he is used to having a buddy. He is the perfect dog. PERFECT!

This letter is to all the families that might want to meet me. My name is Duke and I am a one year old Boxer mix with a cool blue eye.( that is why I wear the blue bandana, it brings out the best in me). I weigh about 70 lbs, but I will fill out some more. I had a great beginning to my life. I was adopted as a puppy into a home with a wonderful canine playmate and human siblings too!  I was living a good life when all of a sudden someone came and took my sister away in a car. I cried and cried and waited in the yard for her to come back and play like we always had, but she never did come back. Then a few days later a moving truck came and all the stuff in the house was moved into the truck. The last thing that happened was my human siblings and my dad gave me big hugs and put me in a truck with some people that I never met before and they drove me away. I still am not sure what happened, but I am in another house now with a very nice man and woman. They are wonderful to me, but they told me from the beginning that this can only be a temporary place for me. They want me to have a real family again with other dogs to play with and human siblings too! I am house trained and don’t chew anything, so I can fit right in to any family. I am very smart and sit at the front door before going for my walks. I lived with cats, so I am good and safe with them, but outside cats I may chase and want to play with a little too much for their liking. I am affectionate and loving. Oh,  and I am healthy and utd on my shots. So, thanks for reading  my “tail” of woe. I hope you can help with a happy ending.
